Bringing the past to life is a task embraced by the Porter County Clerk Archives team. They have rediscovered the historical events that helped shape Porter County. The contributions of its early settlers have enabled them to retell the stories of yesteryear. The archives records digitization project began July 5, 2019. Since then, the team has worked diligently to preserve the past. They have processed countless historical records of judicial significance with the help of community volunteers. These records date back to 1836 when Porter County was first established.
